Pilates is suitable for everyone of all ages and abilities. Kate has 15 years of experience and is qualified in Pre and postnatal Pilates as well as bone health(osteoporosis).

Alignment

Static and dynamic

Whether you are still or moving, having good alignment is key to having healthy joints, ligaments and muscles. You will improve your proprioception, movement patterns and posture.

Breathing

Lateral breathing

Breathing correctly will encourage concentration, allowing the body and mind to unite. It provides a rhythm for movement and can effect the quality of our posture thus improving our general health and wellbeing.

Centring

Stability training

By improving your core stability you will learn to gain control of your spine, pelvis, torso, shoulders and head. Learning this in a Pilates environment will help you gain functional stability in everyday life.
